Arbor Day in Columbia Heights

"The City of Columbia Heights and Sister Cities Committee of Columbia Heights met at Łomianki Park for a tree-planting ceremony to celebrate 30 years. The event took place on Arbor Day (April 30) at 2 pm.

In 1991, Columbia Heights received an agreement from Lomianki, Poland (next to Warsaw) that they would be proud to be in a partnership with our City and we formalized this “Sister Cities, International” friendship. Our members are dedicated to this international friendship by promoting humanitarian, educational, cultural, civic, and social events."
